The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f)GDPR, where our legitimate interest arises from the purposes outlined above. We delete this data after no later than 30 days. Further storage only occurs if the personal data has been anonymized; for IP addresses, this is done, for example, by data protection-compliant shortening.

Cookies

We only use session cookies on our site. These are not intended for tracking or similar purposes, but ensure the correct functionality of the system. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

If you use our contact form, we use the data you provide, although only a valid email address is required and the other information is voluntary, to answer your request. Your information may be stored in a customer relationship management system ("CRM system") or comparable software. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your request relates to the fulfillment of contractual obligations or the initiation of a contract. In other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1) (f) GDPR, where our legitimate interest arises from the purposes outlined above. The personal data collected by us for using the contact form will be deleted after your request has been processed, unless we are legally required to store it or we need the data to fulfill a contract. You can also object to processing at any time if the processing is based on a legitimate interest.

If the contact aims at concluding a contract or is made within the framework of an existing contractual relationship, the legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.The data will be deleted once the request has been conclusively processed, unless we are legally required to store it or we need the data to fulfill a contract. You can also object to processing at any time if the processing is based on a legitimate interest. Log data on our email server will be deleted after no later than 30 days.

Social media plug-ins

We currently use the following social media plug-ins:[Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Updike eCom GmbH (pest24.de)]. We use the so-called two-click solution or a technically equivalent solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the mark on the box above its initial letter or logo. We give you the opportunity to communicate directly with the plug-in provider via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, does the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data collected when you visit our website is transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Instagram, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, personal data from you is thus transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (with US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data especially via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies using your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box.

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or tailor-made website design. Such an evaluation is carried out especially (also for users who are not logged in) to display demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Through the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

The legal basis for using the plug-ins is Article 6(1) (f) GDPR, where our legitimate interest arises from marketing purposes.Insofar as consent is given by clicking on a plug-in, the legal basis isArticle 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

The data transfer occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be directly assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you press the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also stores this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as you can then avoid being assigned to your profile at the plug-in provider.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the privacy policies of these providers provided below. There you will also find further information about your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy.
